Do you feel any effects on your body when you drink wine,
like cheeks turn red?
Wine influences our health as alcohol has an impact on our body.
Alcohol fifth in the ranking of the most addictive.
The effects of alcohol on the body:
Alcohol affects the brain, more precisely the neurons, which makes the transmission of information much slower.
Alcohol can also cause drowsiness, loss of memory, loss of coordination in movement. Psychologically, alcohol can also affect your state: moods change very quickly.

Drinking alcohol frequently can lead to cardiovascular disease, including irregular heartbeats. The liver also suffers the consequences of alcohol, such as cirrosis.

Drinking too much alcohol can also cause cancer: cancer of the mouth, oesophagus, throat, breast, liver.

Pesticides are suspected of being toxic to reproduction and the nervous system, and carcinogenic. They are often used to combat vine diseases.

The "refractory Gauls" to wine-related diseases
According to the theory of the "French paradox", the French live on average 2.5 years longer than Americans, while their annual consumption of red wine is more than three times higher.

The presence of antioxidants in red wine could perhaps explain this phenomenon. Indeed, they reduce the risk of blood clots, cancer and even dementia.

But this remains a myth...

The myth that red wine is good for you has been around since its discovery. The effects of red wine have been described differently in different eras. For example, ancient China believed that drinking red wine could help people recover from illness and weakness, while most modern people believe that red wine can help people sleep and reduce cardiovascular diseases. But these claims have never been backed up by science evidence.

To investigate the effects of alcohol on the human body, researchers from Peking University, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom collaborated on a 10-year survey of alcohol consumption habits and physical characteristics of disease among 512,715 adults in 10 regions of China. The results were published in April 2019. Studies have shown that alcohol intake is positively correlated with the risk of high blood pressure and stroke. The more alcohol you drink, the more likely you are to get sick. It has no preventive effect on myocardial infarction.

These findings suggest that drinking alcohol has no health benefits. So please use caution when reading this article.
